Algerian Ivy is a sturdy, shade-loving plant that is low-maintenance and adaptable to a wide range of climates and soil conditions. Leaves have a glossy, lustrous texture and bold dramatic coloring including shades of dark green, pale green, silvery grey, and creamy white, with a marbled appearance. This plant prefers medium to low light. Avoid full sun as this can cause the leaves to brown and burn. Too little light could cause your plant to become leggy and start stretching for the light. Algerian Ivy can be drought tolerant, so allowing the soil to dry out every so often will not cause too much damage. Water regularly, especially when the plant is placed in brighter locations.
